Factsogy is an independent news channel. We publish short, faceless explainer videos on business, finance, tech and politics on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and as a podcast on Spotify, plus a free newsletter, The Factsogy Brief.

Our promise is in the name: all trending facts at your fingertips. Every story focuses on what actually happened, explained in a few minutes, with the sources we used so you can check it yourself.

What we cover

  • Business: companies, markets, earnings and the deals shaping the economy.
  • Finance: interest rates, inflation, personal and global money.
  • Tech: AI, big tech, products and platforms changing daily life.
  • Politics: elections, policy and government decisions that affect you.

Editorial standards

Facts first. We report what happened, who said what, and the numbers behind it. We do not publish opinion pieces, and we do not tell you who to vote for or what to buy. When a claim is disputed, we say so and show where each side's claim comes from.

Sources on every story. Each story is built from primary sources where they exist, such as company filings, official statistics, court documents and government releases, and from established news organisations. Every story page on this site lists the sources we used, and every key fact can be traced back to one of them. If we cannot source a fact, we leave it out.

Accuracy over speed. We cover trending news quickly, but not before the facts are checked. If details are still unclear, we say what is confirmed and what is not.

Political balance. We apply the same standards to every party, government and public figure. Headlines describe events, not verdicts.

How we use AI

Factsogy is a faceless channel, and we use AI tools openly to make it. AI helps us research, draft scripts, create voice-overs and visuals, and prepare videos for publishing.

AI does not decide what is true. Every story is reviewed and given final approval by a person before it is published, and the facts in it must match the sources listed. Where platforms require it, we label AI-generated voices and realistic synthetic visuals. We never use AI to imitate a real person's voice or face, or to invent quotes, events or images presented as real.

Corrections policy

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it openly:

  • Report an error by emailing factsogy@gmail.com with the story link and what is wrong. A source helps us check faster.
  • We review every correction request. Significant errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed.
  • Corrected story pages show the date of the update and a note at the end explaining what changed. We do not quietly delete or rewrite published stories.
  • If a video contains a significant error, we correct it in the description or pinned comment, and in the story page on this site.

Independence and funding

Factsogy is independent. It is not run by any political party or government. We may earn money from platform advertising, sponsorships and affiliate links. Sponsors and advertisers have no say over what we cover or how, and any sponsored content is clearly labelled as sponsored.
